2GIG Battery Packs 2GIG BATT2X

Product Overview:

The 2GIG BATT2X is an extra capacity backup battery for the 2GIG GC2 and 2GIG GC2e. Any premise looking to stay within the confines of UL985 Fire Warning System listing will need this backup battery. It is a 7.2V 2600mAh Ni-MH battery pack that offers up to 24 hours of backup power.

Normally, a 2GIG GC2 or GC2e will be receiving power from a plug-in 2GIG AC1 Transformer. The backup battery will be slowly storing power so that it can power the system in the event of an electrical outage. Like any backup battery, the 2GIG BATT2X will gradually lose its ability to store a charge over time. Once that happens, it will need to be replaced.

Please note that the 2GIG BATT2X is for use with the GC2 and GC2e Systems only. It is not used with any of the other 2GIG Alarm Systems. The 2GIG BATT2X replaces the standard backup battery called the 2GIG BATT1X for the GC2 and GC2e, which can only keep the panel running for 4 to 6 hours.
