For those who do not want to custom cable, 2GIG offers the AC2-PLUG Power Supply. This has the same input (120 VAC @ 60 Hz) and output (14 VDC @ 1700 mA), except it comes with a 10 foot cable and a prefabricated male DC (barrel) connector on the end. It works with the GC2 and GC3 Systems.
There is a power port on the backside of these panels specifically designed for the AC2-PLUG. Using the AC2 power supply will prevent the need for any extra parts. If you already have a 2GIG Panel you can purchase this unit separately. Otherwise you can purchase the 2GIG CP21-345AC2 - Go!Control with AC Power Supply kit. This kit comes with the AC2 instead of the AC1.
