The EL-IPD-8CH-MTX Multi Zone Audio Matrix used in standalone mode supports up to 13 input sources including a doorbell input from an ELAN System Controller. 8 speaker channels are available for up to four 4 stereo or 8 mono zones, delivering high quality audio at up to 100WPC. 4 line level outputs can be configured as up to 4 mono or 2 stereo output zones or as sub-woofer out. Lip sync, individual EQ and loudness control can be applied to each zone. Adding the optional Dante® Audio Networking card connects sources to and from other Dante-enabled ELAN IP amplifiers using existing networks. ELAN IP-enabled audio distribution simplifies whole house audio and enhances the intelligent home by delivering high quality audio over the existing network. Easily scaling from a single chassis solution to a decentralized multi-chassis / multi-source implementation, ELAN IP audio distribution meets the needs for projects of up to 64 individual zones. Giving installers more flexibility of installation by decentralizing provisioning when needed, sources and amplifiers can be placed where they make the most sense–because audio is delivered over the network. This means less cabling is necessary, lowering costs and installation times. ELAN IP amps use Dante Audio Networking Technology, enabling standard IP networks to transmit high-quality, uncompressed audio with near-zero latency.
