The device transmits alarm notifications to the control panel and is supervised using the PowerG 2-way communications protocol. The PG9975 PowerG door/window contact is equipped with a visible signal quality LED indicator on the contact that lets the installer choose the optimal location for installation, without having to go back and forth to the keypad. Having one of the smallest and most unobtrusive door/window contacts design available, the PG9975 contact is housed within a compact casing that allows it to be used for the tightest-fitting installations or where aesthetics are critical. The slim case provides a streamlined, practically non-existent look once installed, complementing the décor of most homes.
The PG9975 includes a low-battery condition detection. When this condition is detected a trouble message is transmitted to the compatible receiver/control panel. This will provide visual identification of the unit that requires a battery change. When mounting the device, it is highly recommended to attach the transmitter to the top of the door/window on the fixed frame and the magnet to the door or window. Ensure that the magnet is located not more than 6 mm (0.25 in.) from the transmitter's marked side.
