This Sony BRAVIA is equipped with thousands of mini-LEDs for independent backlighting control across the screen for each scene. An Eco Dashboard within the TV lets you access all of the eco-related settings of the X95L in one place. Use ambient light sensing for efficient power usage by optimizing screen brightness to your room's lighting. Auto Power Saving can be used with an optional BRAVIA CAM to minimize power consumption by darkening the screen automatically when you're not in front of the TV.

On the outside, Sony-developed SORPLAS recycled plastics are used throughout the construction of the X95L, minimizing virgin plastic use by approximately 60%. The packaging the X95L comes in uses approximately 48% less plastic by volume, is 15% smaller, and 12% lighter than previous generations, which all work to increase transport efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions by as much as 15%.
